The girders of the single girder crane bridge are mostly composed of I-section steel or combination section of steel type and steel plate. Lifting trolleys are often assembled with chain hoists, electric hoists or hoists as parts of lifting mechanisms. And do you know what need to pay attention to the rigging of single girder crane?

Precautions for Using Rigging of Single Girder Crane:

1. The weight of the lifting object shall not exceed the limit working load of the spreader. Before the use, the visual inspection of the used spreader shall be carried out and the limit working load shall be checked according to the lifting load of the spreader.

2. Determine the weight of the object to be lifted and its center of gravity. Read the attached documents carefully and mark the lifting point and weight data. Only after determining the center of gravity can the hook be hung in the contact position!

3. The crane hook should hang vertically above the center of gravity of the hanging object.

4. Lifting heavy objects must avoid damage to lifting objects and prevent damage to the rigging itself. To avoid rotation or dropping, the following conditions should be observed:

a) One-legged rigging. The lifting point should be located vertically above the center of gravity of the lifting object.

b) If it is a leg rigging, the hanging point should be on both sides of the lifting object with the lifting point above the center of gravity.

c) If it is a three-legged and four-legged rig, the hanging point should be evenly located on the center of gravity of the lifting object and above the center of gravity of the suspended object.

Pay attention to the lifting angle β (between the vertical line and the hanging leg): The larger the lifting angle, the smaller the lifting capacity. Lift angles of more than 60 degrees are absolutely not allowed!
