As to induce the crane accident, the engineer should operate the single girder overhead crane as the correct procedures. However, do you really know all the correct procedures of single girder bridge crane? If you do not know or only know alittle about it. Today, nucleon engineer will talk about it.
Operating procedures of single beam bridge crane:
1. Before work
a. For single-girder bridge cranes with cabs, the driver shall inspect the hooks, wire ropes, and safety devices and other components according to the requirements of the check-in card before starting the drive. If abnormal conditions are found, they shall be excluded.
b. For ground-operated single-girder bridge cranes, special personnel should be responsible for inspections according to the requirements of inspection cards in each shift. If abnormal conditions are found, they should be excluded.
c. The operator must close the main power supply when it is confirmed that there is no person on the walkway or on the track. When the power circuit breaker is locked or has a signboard, the main power source must be closed by the original person concerned.
2. At work
a. When lifting heavy objects for the first time in each class (or when the load reaches maximum weight), the weight should be lowered again after being lifted 0.5 meters above ground level. Check the brake performance. After confirming the reliability, perform normal operations.
b. Strict implementation of the "ten do not hang" system:
1 The command signal is unknown or the command is not hoisted;
2 Do not hang when exceeding the rated capacity;
3 The use of the spreader is unreasonable or the object is tied loosely;
4 There are people on the hanging or other floating objects not hanging;
5 brake or other brake safety device failure does not hang;
6 The crane hanging weights are not lifted when processed directly;
7 oblique hanging does not hang;
8 has explosive objects do not hang;
9 buried underground objects do not hang;
10 pieces with angular mouthpieces, no padding or hanging;
c. If any abnormality is found, stop the machine immediately and cut off the power supply. Check the cause and remove it in time.
3. After work
a. Raise the hook to a certain height, the cart stops at the designated position, the controller handle is placed at “zero” position; the knife gate is pulled down, and the power is cut off.
b. Perform routine maintenance.
c. Do a good job in handover work.
